1. How will my child be matched?

Every child is personally matched with a Big based on need, interests and personality. You will approve any match made for your child and will be an important part of the match relationship.

2. Who are our volunteers?

Our Bigs come from all backgrounds and walks of life. Each volunteer undergoes an application process, which includes a thorough background check, an in-person interview, a home visit, and a professional assessment.

3. Where will my child meet with his or her Big?

Your child will be mentored in either community-based or school-based settings, depending on the program you choose. Learn more about our program offerings.

4. What does this cost?

There is no cost to your family for your child to be matched with a Big. The program is supported by donors and partners throughout the community.
