Clothing & Household Donations
Each year, people from all over the region help to support us by donating their used clothing and household goods.
Three Ways To Help
Anything you donate will be resold at the local Savers stores, and the proceeds will help our program and others in the area. The 55 year old Savers store is a private for-profit company that benefits more than 114 local non-profit organizations by purchasing and reselling items.
1) Call for a pick-up
If you would like us to pick up your donations, call the Hartsprings center at 413.732.7111 (toll-free 1.888.413.2227). They’ll check for the next date that our trucks will be in your neighborhood. Sometime during that scheduled day, we will pick up your donation at your curb!
All donations are delivered to a Savers location in Western Massachusetts or Connecticut. That Savers store will sell the donations in their thrift store, and the proceeds support local BBBS agencies.
2) Drop off your used goods
If you would rather drop off donations yourself, stop by the Savers store during their regular business hours:

3) Start a clothing drive!
It’s a great way for folks to clean their closets while also supporting their community. Contact our donation center for more information at 413.732.7111 (toll-free 1.888.413.2227).
We’re looking for areas to place our donation bins. There are opportunities in shopping center parking lots, grocery stores, and schools just to name a few. If you think you might be able to help us secure a place for some of our bins, call Rebel McKinley at 413.781.4730 x114 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
