David Beturne Named one of BusinessWest's 40 Under 40

For nearly ten years, David Beturne has been a presence at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampden County. He began as a case manager in July of 2000, and he immediately realized that working with this organization would be rather different from his other work experience. "Children are our most vulnerable population. I've worked with children in homeless situations and crisis situations, and this is one of the few places where they not only need your assistance but they welcome you with open arms."

Since 2004, David has served as Director of Program Services. He's now responsible for managing a team of 8 employees and still feels inspired the same way he did at the very beginning. "We are able to help families just by providing a volunteer. There's no other program like Big Brothers Big Sisters. No other program achieves our level of impact using such a simple, non-intrusive method."

We're so proud and excited to have David as part of our team. Congratulations on this prestigious and well deserved accomplishment!
